How to Join?

Who is eligible to join the Southlake Carroll Rodeo Team? 

Are you in 9th to 12th grade and attend CHS or CSHS? Or, are you zoned for CISD but are homeschooled or attend a private or charter school? Then you are eligible to join our team! Please email us today to learn how easy it is to become a Rodeo Team Member. Team members do not require ownership of their own horse, nor do they need to have prior rodeo experience.

How do I join the Southlake Carroll Rodeo Team?  

Please contact us at:  southlakecarrollrodeoteam@gmail.com and we can get you the forms and information to get you signed-up today. Membership is open to all students in Grades 9-12 that reside within CISD boundaries. 

What is required to become a Southlake Carroll Rodeo Team member? 

❏ Annual Southlake Carroll Rodeo Team Membership Fee:  $25 

❏ Team Forms: Membership Form, Bylaws Recognition Form, Emergency Contact, and Photo Release to be signed and submitted to Parent Team Sponsor. 

❏ Team Uniform: Ariat black long-sleeve button-down shirt, black cowboy hat, long jeans, and a belt are to be worn for team photos and team/NTHSRA events. Black team shirts  must have the team name screen printed on the left hand sleeve; shirts are purchased by individual members and the team will provide screen printing.

❏ Sponsorship:  $200 minimum per member to be contributed to the team. We are not subsidized by CISD so these sponsorships are necessary to fund team events and supplies for such events as: the Homecoming Parade, arena rentals for team practices, Winter and End-of-Year Team Banquets, etc. These sponsorships can be local, national or family sponsorships and are due to the Team Parent Sponsor on/before: 10/31/2023.

❏ Team members are also expected to follow the CISD Code of Conduct.

What is required to become a NTHSRA member? 

The Southlake Carroll Rodeo Team competes against other high school rodeo teams in NTHSRA. In order to part-take in the competitions you must become a NTHSRA member (highly recommended):

❏ Annual NTHSRA Membership Fee: $50  (cash or check payable to NTHSRA).

 ❏ NTHSRA Forms:  Membership Application Form, W-9 Form, Copy Birth Certificate or Driver’s License, Copy of Coggins.

❏ NTHSRA Dress Code:  same as the Team Uniform, above (button-down shirt tucked in, jeans, belt, cowboy hat/helmet & boots) PLUS -- and very important --your Back Number must be worn at all times at NTHSRA events.

❏ NTHSRA Finals Program Advert:  $50 minimum Ad Form with payment and advertisement artwork (business card, etc.). Due in October.
