2023-2024 Rodeo Season 

Three Southlake Carroll Rodeo Team members reached the NTHSRA 2D-5D Invitational Barrels & Poles Finals, out of 100’s of competitors from nearly 70 NTHSRA High School Teams, in 2023-24! 

NTHSRA 2D-5D Invitational Barrels & Poles Finals, May 2024: 

🌟Calleigh Burgess: 1st Place Champion 3D Barrels, and 4st Place 2D Poles.

🌟Megan Bergman: 4th Place in 4D Barrels

🌟Madelyn Morman: 5th Place in 5D Poles

2022-2023 Rodeo Season 

An impressive seven Southlake Carroll Rodeo Team members secured NTHSRA FINALISTS positions, out of 100’s of competitors from nearly 70 NTHSRA High School Teams, in 2022-23! 

NTHSRA Finals, May 2023:

🌟Ty Burgess:  Finals Champion Steer Wrestler, and Reserve Champion for the Year

🌟Ty Burgess:  Champion Chute Dogger for the Year

🌟Ty Burgess:  Horse of the Year, Steer Wrestling Award

🌟Ty Burgess:  3 Buckles, a Champion Saddle and $$$$!

🌟Ty Burgess:  2 NTHSRA scholarships

🌟Lillie Walthall:  NTHSRA Scholarship

NTHSRA 2D-5D Invitational Barrels & Poles Finals, May 2023: 

🌟Calleigh Burgess: Reserve Champion 3D Barrels, and 1st Place Champion 2D Poles.

🌟Isabella Gibson:  1st Place Champion 4D Poles.

🌟Brooke Wilkerson:  1st Place Champion 5D Barrels, and 2nd Place 4D Poles.

🌟Lillie Walthall:  3rd Place 3D Barrels, and 3rd Place 3D Poles.

2022 Junior NFR

🌟Ty Burgess qualifies 7th in the World for Steer Wrestling in his age division to earn a spot competing at the 2022 Junior NFR in Las Vegas.  

2021-22 Rodeo Season 

🌟Ty Burgess: wins NTHSRA Scholarship Rodeo at the FWSSR for Steer Wrestling, and  qualifies for both Steer Wrestling, and Chute Dogging at the Pro Series events Jr. Patriot/Jr. American, and the Jr. NFR. 

🌟Kyla Morris:  3rd Place in the NTHSRA Scholarship Rodeo at the FWSSR, and qualifies for the Jr. Patriot/Jr. American for Pole Bending, and the BBR World Finals for Barrel Racing.

🌟Ty Burgess: NTHSRA Finalist (one of the top 15 athletes in their respective events) 

🌟 Kyla Morris:  NTHSRA Finalist (one of the top 15 athletes in their respective events)

🌟 Emma Mateus: BBB World Finals in Oklahoma City, Barrel Racing Qualifier 

🌟 Sydney Wollett:  BBB World Finals in Oklahoma City, Barrel Racing Qualifier
